The Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), is the platform of choice for implementing scalable and reliable enterprise applications from reusable components. But Java developers building enterprise-class J2EE applications face a quandary. The object paradigm has proven ideal for modeling a wide variety of real-world scenarios.
